Chemo Treatment a Success

My mom's chemo treatment was a success. She did not have any bad reactions and everything went smoothly. Erna Crosby accompanied my mom to the chemo and beat her at Skip-Bo. My dad also stopped by to deliver lunch and join in on the fun. We are thankful that her body accepted the chemo and still praying for complete healing in her body.

  1. Praise God!! Your mom's been added to my old school's prayer chain and in Japan...how many people can really say they're being prayed for all over the world?!? Hope you are all doing well :) Love you!

  2. That's so wonderful. Our community group is praying for her and your whole family as well. As is my family back home.

  3. Pat: As I was driving up the hill for your chemo, I listened to an old CD by Azusa Pacific choir. There was a wonderful song entitled "Trust His Heart"--with words just for you today!

"All things work for our good, though sometimes we can't see how they could--Struggles that break our hearts in two--sometimes blind us to the truth. Our Father knows what's best for us; His ways are not our own. So when your pathway grows dim, and you just can't see Him, remember you're never alone.
God is too wise to be mistaken. God is too good to be unkind. So when you don't understand, when you don't see His plan, when you can't trace His hand, trust His heart.
He sees the master plan. He holds the future in His hands. So don't live as those who have no hope; all our hope is found in Him. We see the present clearly, but He sees the first and last. And like a tapestry, He's weaving you and me to some-day be just like Him.
God is too wise to be mistaken. God is too good to be unkind. So when you don't understand, when you don't see His plan, when you can't trace His hand--trust His heart."

  4. Pat, So happy:-) that you are feeling better!!!!!!! So happy that you tolerated the Chemo well!!!! Love the new hairdo!!!!!
Thanks so much to Erna for entertaining Pat during chemo. It's much easier to go to chemo if you have a sister with you and I have made Erna an honorary sister, but then hasn't she always been our sister?!? Thanks too for the beautiful words to "Trust His Heart" and that is what we will strive to do, one day at a time.
Remember, Pat, I am here for you:-)
